Banana Chips  - Organic Certified

Banana Chips  are made from  Philippine Banana of the Saba and Cardava variety.  The bananas are
picked in  their mature green stage,  peeled,  washed,  sliced and fried in fresh refined vegetable oil.
The chips  does not  contain any artificial additives.  The  average size is  20-25 mm  in diameter and
thickness of 4.0 m/m more or less.

The Philippines  is a  contender of  being the  “Banana Capital of the World,”  given  the  innumerable
banana   plantations  scattered  across  Mindanao.  Tapping  this  prodigious  source,   the  company
established its  first banana chips plant in 1986.  A thriving demand saw the rise of the second plant
in  General Santos City in 1988 and soon,  a third plant in 1990, in  Tagum City.  The three plants have
a total production output of 90 x 20-feet containers per month.

The banana chips comes in different flavours:

-   Honeydipped banana chips
-   Sweetened banana chips
-   Unsweetened banana chips
-   Salted banana chips
-   Cinnamon banana chips

It is also available in different cuts like Whole Chips, Halves, Quarters, Broken, Diced, and Fines.

With the world’s growing fascination for tropical snacks,  Arrowood sees a consistent growth in the
demand for its banana chips.  The rise in  sales is further fueled by consistent nutrition findings that
even processed banana chips is a healthy snack.
